UPDATE: Argentina Expels Bishop Richard Williamson Out

Bishop Richard Williamson was ordered to leave the country within 10 days by Argentina's government. The Vatican had no comment.

The Argentine Interior Ministry said Bishop Williamson’s statements on the Holocaust “profoundly insult Argentine society, the Jewish community and all of humanity by denying an historic truth”.

The Argentine interior ministry said that Bishop Williamson had not declared “his true activity” as the director of the seminary on immigration forms, and had “concealed the true motive for his stay in the country” by claiming to be an employee of a non-governmental body.

The government said it had been unaware of Bishop Williamson’s position until recent publicity, but added that his views were a factor in the decision to expel him.
Guillermo Oliveri, the government’s secretary for religious affairs, said: “I absolutely agree with the expulsion of a man residing in our country following his statements [denying] one of the greatest human tragedies.”

Holocaust Denying Bishop Ousted, Feb 9, 2009

Did we even know Bishop Williamson was in charge of an "Argentinian" seminary? How long has the Catholic Church's hierarchy knew that he had these feelings to begin with? Argentina is where the Nazis fled during and after World War II? Bishop Williamson has been let go of his position after legitimate chastisement from Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Apparently surprised by the vociferous reaction to the rehabilitation of Bishop Williamson, including unusual public criticism from Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany, the pope’s native country, the Vatican said Bishop Williamson must recant his views on the Holocaust.

The pope has also made efforts to soothe offended relations with Jews and other groups angered by Bishop Williamson’s rehabilitation, saying he had been unaware of the bishop’s views.

News of Bishop Williamson’s dismissal from the Argentine seminary came after the pope and Chancellor Merkel had a “cordial and constructive” phone conversation, spokesmen for both said Sunday.

Once again, in order to be compassionate and above the crowds, to do the supposedly right thing, the Catholic Church has placed the needs of one person over the needs of the many victims.

Henrietta Homeless Has Means When She Has To

Barack Obama got hosed again in townhall meeting by welfare leech Henrietta Hughes and her son. She actually is a real estate investor. South Florida television station WINK:

However, a local organization is coming forward saying Hughes isn't being honest about how much help she's had in the past.

The director of We Care Outreach Ministry, Tanya Johnson, says just last month she offered Henrietta Hughes permanent housing and a place to stay free for three months, but Hughes refused.

"We would have allowed her to stay for the first 90 days, no income. You know free," said Tanya Johnson.

We Care Outreach Ministry is a faith based organization in Fort Myers.

Johnson says she also gave Henrietta and her son Corey, money, food and offered Corey job training courses, but it was refused.

"We have extended a lot of her services to her," Johnson said.

But Henrietta Hughes says these services weren't free and the apartment in East Fort Myers came with a price tag.

Hughes says Tanya Johnson wanted $400 a month immediately.

The disability check Hughes gets is a little more than $800 a month.

Hughes owes money on a loan, has her car insurance payment, a monthly storage bill and says she couldn't afford the rent.

"Where was I going to get $400 a month to give her if I got these expenses," Hughes told WINK News.

She stands by her story.

Henrietta Hughes says she's never taken advantage of the system and doesn't choose to be homeless. Like other programs she's tried to get help from,she says We Care couldn't meet her needs.

State Representative Nick Thompson and his wife Chene are standing by Henrietta and her son, Corey. They spoke out against the allegations Henrietta is milking the system, even when confronted with the fact WINK News found out the Hughes' sold property, back in 2005. This is after Henrietta and her son lost their home in 2003 and started living in their car. Henrietta and her son sold the land for $47,000 dollars. But Chene Thompson says that was all the money they had for several years and it's gone.

"They have nothing today. They need help today. They didn't need help in 2005. They need help today. So whether they had $47,000 or $147,000 in 2005, it doesn't matter. They don't have any money today," she said.

How do you know when everyday voters are making a difference in the war against abortion? When TIME magazine writes an editorial stating that the Freedom of Choice Act is a mythical bill. The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops Postcard campaign against Obama's murder of millions of babies is making headlines with Congress getting bombarded by voters, Catholic and non-Catholics. Patrick Madrid writes about Time's crusade against the Catholic Church.

The U.S. Catholic Church's crusade against the Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) has all the hallmarks of a well-oiled lobbying campaign. A national postcard campaign is flooding the White House and congressional offices with messages opposing FOCA, and Catholic bishops have made defeating the abortion rights legislation a top priority. In the most recent effort to stop the bill, Cardinal Justin Rigali of Philadelphia sent a letter to every member of Congress imploring them to "please oppose FOCA."

There is only one hitch. Congress isn't about to pass the Freedom of Choice Act — because no such bill has been introduced in the current Congress.

Free speech is no longer allowed in Oklahoma if it's against Obama? Police officer pulled over a man driving to work because of an anti-Obama sticker on his vehicle. Chip Harrison was given a citation that stated he was part of an investigation into threats against Obama. Secret Service came to his home and spoke to Harrison and his wife, searched his home, then returned the sign. Harrison has retained a lawyer on the violation of his free speech rights.

Robert Gibbs, the stammering no-details spokesperson for the Obama administration, declined comment on a cartoon that drew a connection between the stimulus bill and the crazed chimpanzee attack in the New York Post. The New York Post, one of the few conservative slanted newspapers in the industry, showed a picture of the slain chimpanzee with cops remarking: "They'll have to get someone else to write the next stimulus bill." Gibbs' no comment was followed with:

"I have not seen the cartoon," he told reporters aboard Air Force One as Obama returned to Washington from Arizona, where he announced his plan to deal with the foreclosure crisis. "But I don't think it's altogether newsworthy reading the New York Post."

The New York Post, the 13th oldest newspaper in the United States is not newsworthy, but the Huffington Post gets press corps access to Obama's televised prime time television conference?

Who actually wrote the Stimulus Bill? Not Obama, for goodness sakes. He's only co-sponsored three bills that were enacted during his time as Senator. He can't even tell you what's in it, never mind his baboons, Gibbs, Geithner, and Emmanuel.

The same MSM's that wanted investigations and committees on Bush's every move, now lets Obama appoint friends to prominent, high-paying positions,changing review policies, and sign executive orders under complete secrecy without one sniff of "where's the transparency?"

One order Obama signed Feb. 5 expanded the National Economic Council to 25 people by adding the Secretary of Health and Human Services; Secretary of Education Arne Duncan; senior adviser Valerie Jarrett; “climate czar” Carol Browner and two other officials.

Another order the president signed the same day added two slots to the Domestic Policy Council, bringing it to a total of 26 people. Some slots were reassigned. The chief technology officer was among those added to the panel, while “AIDS Policy Coordinator” was removed. It was unclear if that was a substantive change, simply reflected plans to keep the AIDS czar post at the State Department, or perhaps both.

Another Obama executive order, signed January 30, canceled two Bush-era executive orders relating to regulatory review. The White House did release chief of staff Rahm Emanuel’s memo halting regulations in the works at federal agencies, but didn’t release another Obama memo setting a 100-day deadline for agency heads to recommend a new regulatory review process. The memo indicates that Obama may want to do some things differently on the regulatory front than the last Democrat in the White House, Bill Clinton.

Pelosi In Denial Of Pope's Admonishment

Pope Benedict XVI agreeing to meet with Sen. Nancy Pelosi, 3rd in line for the United States presidency is enough to make Catholics' blood boil. But there is precedence for popes to meet with U.S. Catholic politicians that defy Catholic doctrine when Pope John Paul II met with pro-choice Catholic presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro in 1985. The Vatican, though does not allow any photographs and makes no fanfare announcements of meetings with Catholics who are not in good standing, making the meeting simple and matter of fact to reinforce the Church's position to the world.

Facing criticism about mixed signals, the Vatican issued its statement immediately after the meeting broke up.

“His Holiness took the opportunity to speak of the requirements of the natural moral law and the church’s consistent teaching on the dignity of human life from conception to natural death,” it read, “which enjoin all Catholics, and especially legislators, jurists and those responsible for the common good of society, to work in cooperation with all men and women of good will in creating a just system of laws capable of protecting human life at all stages of its development.”

Not only was it unusual to issue a statement after a meeting with an official who’s not a head of state, routine Vatican declarations after diplomatic meetings also generally sum up the range of issues discussed rather than concentrating on a particular point.

In that sense, the statement can only be read as a rejection of Pelosi’s statements last summer, and, in general, of her argument that it’s acceptable for Catholics in public life to take a pro-choice position.

What is shocking is that Pelosi has the audacity to ignore the Pope's admonishment in her press release. She instead chose to make her recall a mockery of the "It's all about me" audience with the soft-spoken Catholic leader.

In a statement issued by her office, Pelosi said it was with "great joy" that she and her husband Paul met with Benedict.

"In our conversation, I had the opportunity to praise the Church's leadership in fighting poverty, hunger and global warming, as well as the Holy Father's dedication to religious freedom and his upcoming trip and message to Israel," Pelosi said.

"I was proud to show His Holiness a photograph of my family's papal visit in the 1950s, as well as a recent picture of our children and grandchildren," said the California congresswoman, who has often expressed pride in her religious heritage.

First Case of Flu

Down with the flu since Sunday. First time I've had it. No fun with the worst migraine for three days. For the last four days, I've only had 1 cup of tea, 2 cups of chicken soup, two poached eggs, two pieces of toast, and six pieces of British Pastilles. Finally went to doctor today and he said "oh, if you had only come on Sunday or Monday..." Ugh. Now he tells me.

February 14 was a Roman feast day that mysteriously became associated with two saints named Valentine in the 3rd century. One was a Roman priest and physician killed during the persecution of Christians by Claudius II. The other St. Valentine was a bishop of Terni, also martyred in Rome but his relics were remanded to Terni. (It is possible the two saints were the same person.) The association with love derives from the fact that February 14 was traditionally taken as the beginning of the mating season of birds. As Chaucer noted in "Parliament of Foules" (1381): "For this was on seynt Volantynys day Whan euery bryd comyth there to chese his make." (For this was on Saint Valentine's day when every bird comes there to choose his mate.)

A proud father wanted to take before and after videos of the boy after teeth surgery because his 7-year old son was so nervous. It's priceless.

He was so out of it after, I had to carry him out of the office. The staff was trying to keep from laughing. I had tears from laughing so hard.

He is doing fine now and the teeth are great.

UPDATE: I've heard from numerous readers pros and cons of this video. More comments were how funny it was, even some from parents who said they laughed because they remembered their child doing the same thing.

LOL, I've seen Lauren like that many, many times before and after her procedures, I wish I had taped them!

A friend Laffs countered with this comment:

Obviously the poor kid was still feeling the effects of the anesthesia. The dopey father found it funny to exploit the kid by putting the video on You Tube subjecting the kid to ridicule by other kids. And we know how cruel some kids can be. Take the chat room for instance.

I don't think that was the intent, Laffs. I disagreed with OReilly when he said the same thing last night on his show. Before posting the video, I read the information accompanying the video:

This is my 7 year old son who had an extra tooth removed last summer, 2008.

I had the camera because he was so nervous before and I wanted him to see the before and after.

He was so out of it after, I had to carry him out of the office. The staff was trying to keep from laughing. I had tears from laughing so hard.

He is doing fine now and the teeth are great.

Best of all he is the best kid as is his brother William. I couldnt have asked for two better sons!

2/3 Update: Video camera is a flip video. not bad for $150 bucks!

Intent is everything. Culture is changing. We don't take as many camera pictures anymore but video our family and lives for posterity. How many home videos or embarrassing pictures (that parents put in the grad's senior year book) did we all grow up with? Each time the family watches the home movies or went through the family albums, those moments were there for the whole family and friends to laugh at. But for the most part, and I would hope every time, the movies and photographs were taken with love. To preserve that time in children's lives that are too short.

This father loves his family very much. There was no mal intent to harm or ridicule his son.

I also think this is a very helpful preparation video for parents who are taking their children to the dentist. It's important to be careful taking their children home from any surgery. I can only imagine if the father had not had his son strapped in during the car ride, he could have been hurt.

As to children being cruel? The only difference between children bullies and adult bullies is that the sandbox is larger. People who are cruel with their words and motions, target those who don't deserve it, believe me Laffs, they pay for their actions. Others know deep down that they are being bullies. Most don't say anything out of fear and gratefulness that they are not the object of the bully's ridicule. It's sad that the bullies want people to be as miserable as they are. Their entire lives must be very painful to be them.

Saying Goodbye To Caylee

Family, friends, search teams, and mourners from across the country who never met Caylee, are gathering this morning in Orlando at the to mourn the loss of an angel whose life was too brief. The First Baptist Church is expected to fill the 5,000 seat capacity.

Casey Anthony is jailed in Orlando and will not be allowed to attend her daughter's memorial. The mother and suspected murderer of Caylee Anthony gave a statement through her attorney, Jose Baez:

"I miss Caylee every day and every minute of every day. I can't be there for Caylee's funeral, but some day I want to go and visit her grave and tell her how much I miss her.

I allowed my parents to be in charge for the funeral for Caylee. I told them I wanted her buried in a casket and I wanted there to be a gravestone so I could go and visit her. I asked them if there could only be a private funeral for just the family.

I know they cremated her. I still don't want a public event with cameras and everybody around for Caylee's service, but I can't stop my parents from doing what they want. I truly hope that it will help them."

Rest in peace, Caylee. Justice will be done.

I think it’s time for a comeback for civil disobedience. The only thing that angers me more than the rampant elitism and corruption in our government is that apparent tolerance for it that was demonstrated most recently with the appointment of what is almost certainly a tax cheat as the Treasury Secretary. Surely I am not alone in wondering why I am a big enough sap to pay tens of thousands of dollars in Federal taxes each and every year, while our Washington bureaucrats seem to get away consequence free with a pattern of cheating and fraud. And please, don’t tell me Tom Daschle didn’t get away with it. Sure, he lost his position for a cabinet position, but don’t you think he will be laughing all the way back to his millions-a-year “consulting” gig? Will he be prosecuted for his fraud like I would be? Did he pay any penalties? No, and no.

Since my single, solitary vote is nothing more that a BB in a machine gun world, I intend to start practicing civil disobedience. In the case of Treasury Secretary Geithner, I am going to have a rubber stamp made that says “Tax Cheat!” in block letters. Every time I see a piece of paper currency with Geithner’s signature on it, I am going to stamp over his name with my Tax Cheat stamp. Sure, this action is just as futile as my vote, but eventually maybe others will reach the same conclusion that I have: it is far past time to make our voices heard.

Rush Limbaugh Is More Popular Than Congress And Obama

Rush Limbaugh is the most listened to talk radio show host in the world. He's loved by his conservative base. He's appreciated by common sense folks, who might also be independents and Democrats. He's despised by the BDS gang, feminazis, hatemongering liberals, and left-wing fanatics.

The fact is that Rush Limbaugh is more popular than Congress and nearly double that of Obama's performance approval. This week Obama's ratings dropped down to below 60%.

UPDATE: 11 Men Arrested For Venezuelan Synagogue Attack

UPDATE: Communist dictator and best friends with "Israel must be blown off earth" Ahmadinejad, Hugo Chavez told Jews in Caracas not "to let themselves be used" as victims in the synagogue attacks. It seems that out of the 11 men arrested, most of them work for Chavez.

Now, though, eleven man have been arrested as suspects in the case. Seven of them are policemen and one was a security guard at the synagogue.

Wal-Mart Employees Glad To Work At A Great Place

Say Anything, North Dakota's most political blog has the details of Charley Platt's undercover investigation into the real feelings of Wal-Mart employees. He found out they weren't slaves and that Wal-Mart was a good place to work!

You have to wonder, then, why the store has such a terrible reputation, and I have to tell you that so far as I can determine, trade unions have done most of the mudslinging. Web sites that serve as a source for negative stories are often affiliated with unions. Walmartwatch.com, for instance, is partnered with the Service Employees International Union; Wakeupwalmart.com is entirely owned by United Food and Commercial Workers International Union. For years, now, they've campaigned against Wal-Mart, for reasons that may have more to do with money than compassion for the working poor. If more than one million Wal-Mart employees in the United States could be induced to join a union, by my calculation they'd be compelled to pay more than half-billion dollars each year in dues.

Anti-growth activists are the other primary source of anti-Wal-Mart sentiment. In the town where I worked, I was told that activists even opposed a new Barnes & Noble because it was "too big." If they're offended by a large bookstore, you can imagine how they feel about a discount retailer.

The argument, of course, is that smaller enterprises cannot compete. My outlook on this is hardcore: I think that many of the "mom-and-pop" stores so beloved by activists don't deserve to remain in business.

Liberal MSM's Know Obama's Going Downhill

What does it say about your policies when even the most liberal leaning MSM thinks you're in trouble?

The Boston Globe is telling Obama to quickly do something to re-enervate his image because his policies aren't holding up under scrutiny. He's losing the critical masses. The majority of the country, including his staff, the Congressional Budget Office are saying that Obama's solutions, the Porkulus aka Shamulus aka stimulus spending bill is only temporary and won't help our country's economy in the long run.

As a candidate, Obama did many things right. His thinking was always strategic and his speeches were smartly timed. One thing he didn't do was draw any lines within the vast universe of Democratic interest groups; he never said "no" to anyone.

Now, he must. Otherwise, Republicans will keep on tapping into the ideological talking points that didn't work during the presidential campaign.

Liberals, Democrats, and even worn-out RINO's, listened to Obama's lies aka campaign rhetoric. Obama has no federal experience, no managerial/budget experience, and has never had to run a business profitably, making ends meet while keeping employees employed. Obama has no idea of what he is doing. He's depending heavily on agenda-driven socialist policies to make things work and they won't. No matter how much everyone believes in hope and change.

They are bound to work better now that George W. Bush is no longer president. Obama ran against Republican John McCain. But he beat Bush, not conservatism.

Obama beat McCain by subterfuge and liberal evangelism of "everyone is a victim" and "the government is here to help."

The results of a CBS poll released last week show that Republicans who are advocating an increase in the proportion of tax cuts in the stimulus bill are winning the argument. Asked whether higher government spending or tax cuts for business would be more effective in ending the recession, 59 percent chose tax cuts, while only 22 percent chose government spending. While 51 percent of those polled said they back the concept behind Obama's stimulus package, support for Obama's plan has fallen 12 points since January.

Republicans are winning the argument because Americans are stupid for long. They know when they are being misled. The vast majority of Americans have common sense and intelligence.

Democrats must do a better job of tying the stimulus package to economic recovery in a way that makes sense to average people.

Democrats can't. Democrats know that this pork bill will not create jobs, will do nothing for the average family. Deep down inside most middle class Americans, they understand that it would be economic suicide to go for a quick, short term relief with unfathomable invisible financial debt. Over a trillion dollars that will eventually strangle them and their beloved United States into third world financial ruin.

He's Got The Whole World In His Hands. NOT!

Obama's not quite the popular dude he thought he was on his trip around the world. He's pissed off Canada, Europe with the isolationist porkulus policies. He's having to suck up to the Middle East with his 'Rodney King' open hand policies which has led to the start of Carter-era terrorist kidnappings. Now Russia has becoming a patient tiger waiting to pounce.

Members will include former Securities and Exchange Commission Chairman William Donaldson, TIAA-CREF President-CEO Roger Ferguson and Harvard University professor Martin Feldstein, who wrote a Wall Street Journal op-ed piece last year titled “John McCain Has a Tax Plan To Create Jobs.”

Obama friend and campaign finance chairwoman Penny Pritzker also is on the board, as is Caterpillar Inc. Chairman-CEO Jim Owens and General Electric Co. CEO Jeffrey R. Immelt. Two labor officials — Anna Burger of Service Employees International Union and Richard Trumka of the AFL-CIO — also were named to the 15-member board designed to offer Obama advice as he seeks a way to weather the crisis and rebuild the economy.

I am stunned to see how low Obama can go. If Obama thinks that this is wise counsel, he is obviously floundering in his own egotistical delusions of grandeur. This does not bode well and should further reinforce Republican AND Democrat Senators not to pass this SHAMULUS bill.

The hurting middle class of this country do not deserve this idiocy. God help us all.

Obama States Christianity, Judaism, Islam Have Same Goals

How does "None of you truly believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself" anything like "Love your neighbor as yourself?" You don't believe until you wish that everyone would be Muslim?

Jihad is, simply put, anything undertaken to advance the spread of Islam, peaceful or not. Which means that Jihad is always present, even if there should be a temporary absence of violence because Muslims are too weak to use force. Based on this information, maybe we could make a sketch of a dictionary to explain what many Muslims actually think when they use various terms Westerners and infidels understand very differently:

Peace: "Peace" in Islam equals submission to the will of Allah through his divine and eternal law, sharia, and the extension of the Dar al-Islam – or 'House of Islam' – to cover the entire world. The absence of sharia is the absence of peace. Since it is the will of Allah that Islam will rule the entire planet, entering non-Muslim lands to subjugate the population and wipe out their corrupt, infidel culture is not seen by Muslims as "waging war," but as spreading peace.

Freedom: Hurriyya, freedom, means freeing all people from being slaves of the laws of men and making them live in perfect slavery, in submission to the will of Allah and his laws.

Religious freedom: Subjugation of non-Muslims to religious apartheid and second class citizenship in their own country under Islamic rule. This option is only available to Christians and Jews, not Hindus, Buddhists or others, who have only the choice between embracing Islam or death. Muslims should practice sharia. Since these laws require the subjugation of non-Muslims, "freedom of religion" for Muslims essentially means the freedom to make others unfree.

Jihad: Peaceful, inner struggle that has killed up to 80 million people in the Indian subcontinent alone, and enslaved or killed tens of millions, perhaps hundreds of millions of people on three continents for 1350 years. It can also be violent, but only for defensive purposes, such as the Muslims who defended their way from the Arabian Peninsula to the borders of China, wiping out the indigenous cultures along the way.

Aggression: When non-Muslims do anything to preserve their culture and resist the Islamization of their country. Even when this "aggression" is non-violent, such as publishing a cartoon critical of Islam, this intolerable insult to Islamic supremacy on earth can be answered with violence by Muslims. Since a refusal to submit to sharia is a rebellion against Allah, the very existence of non-Muslim communities can be viewed as an act of aggression.

How would Obama know anything about truth and faith-based honesty. He has no qualms saying something and then doing exactly the opposite. But then Obama spent his childhood studying Muslim traditions and then studied Saul Alinsky.

Obama's forked tongue and O-bot cult followers is more visual imagery than my stomach can handle.

This proves once again that the mainstream media is selective in its coverage, which is driven by its own agenda. What it wants to cover and hype for good or ill gets covered and hyped ad nauseam. Iraq Deaths Exaggerated - Not 655,000

Thanks to the Jawa Report for letting us know that BBC is reporting that the figure of 655,000 that were killed in Iraq is a bogus number. The Iraq Body Count, an entirely independent non-partisan organization which counts only confirmed deaths, sets the death toll at a range of between 90,556 and 98,850.

The American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR) began investigating Dr. [Gilbert] Burnham's work in March 2008 after a complaint by one of its members.

The AAPOR's executive council said in a statement carried by the Associated Press news agency: "When asked to provide several basic facts about this research, Burnham refused."

It said it wanted to know the wording of questions asked and instructions and explanations given to respondents.

"Dr Burnham provided only partial information and explicitly refused to provide complete information about the basic elements of his research," said Mary Losch, chair of the association's standards committee.

She added that Dr Burnham's refusal to co-operate "violates the fundamental standards of science, seriously undermines open public debate on critical issues and undermines the credibility of all survey and public opinion research."

• Obama's seventh miracle of changing Biden from an embarrassment into a thinking person has failed.

Obama has been so overwhelmed with his incompetency and his administration's lack of ethics, he has taken to going places that makes him look even more incompetent. Elementary school.

This is quite serious. I can't recall a similarly disastrous start in a half-century (far worse than Bill Clinton's initial slips). Obama immediately must lower the hope-and-change rhetoric, ignore Reid/Pelosi, drop the therapy, and accept the tragic view that the world abroad is not misunderstood but quite dangerous. And he must listen on foreign policy to his National Security Advisor, Billary, and Sec. of Defense. If he doesn't quit the messianic style and perpetual campaign mode, and begin humbly governing, then he will devolve into Carterism—angry that the once-fawning press betrayed him while we the people, due to our American malaise, are to blame.

Obama Wasn't Vetted, Why Should His Cabinet?

Obama was never vetted himself by the American people, the drive-by media, or the government, why should anybody Obama nominates have any credibility or integrity? yet has the gall to tell appointments that they would be vetted?

A seven-page questionnaire being sent by the office of President-elect Barack Obama to those seeking cabinet and other high-ranking posts may be the most extensive — some say invasive — application ever.

The questionnaire includes 63 requests for personal and professional records, some covering applicants’ spouses and grown children as well, that are forcing job-seekers to rummage from basements to attics, in shoe boxes, diaries and computer archives to document both their achievements and missteps.

Only the smallest details are excluded; traffic tickets carrying fines of less than $50 need not be reported, the application says. Applicants are asked whether they or anyone in their family owns a gun. They must include any e-mail that might embarrass the president-elect, along with any blog posts and links to their Facebook pages.

The application also asks applicants to “please list all aliases or ‘handles’ you have used to communicate on the Internet.”

I guess income tax receipts weren't in those shoe boxes that Obama checked?

Mr. Daschle’s financial ties to major players in the health care industry may prove to be even more troublesome as health reform efforts proceed. Like many former power players in Washington, Mr. Daschle cashed in on his political savvy and influence to earn $5 million in recent years, including more than $2 million from Alston & Bird, a law and lobbying firm; more than $2 million from the private equity firm, InterMedia Advisors, which provided the car and driver; and hundreds of thousands of dollars for speeches to interest groups, including those representing health insurance plans, medical equipment distributors and pharmacy boards.

Although Mr. Daschle was not a registered lobbyist, he offered policy advice to the UnitedHealth Group, a huge insurance conglomerate. He was also a trustee of the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, on whose behalf he voiced opposition to a federal loan for a freight rail line near the clinic’s headquarters in Rochester, Minn. The loan was subsequently denied by the Federal Railroad Administration.

Mr. Daschle is another in a long line of politicians who move cozily between government and industry. We don’t know that his industry ties would influence his judgments on health issues, but they could potentially throw a cloud over health care reform. Mr. Daschle could clear the atmosphere by withdrawing his name.

Obama cabinet appointment Performance czar (Russian right?) Nancy Killifer also resigned, not only because she too didn't pay taxes (must be a Democrat thing) but maybe because she knew she would not be able to successfully fulfill her position with all these tax cheaters and lobbyists that Obama said he wouldn't be appointing?

Rumor-mongering in the night... Is Tom Daschle not in the running anymore?

On the condition of Anonymity a top Aide to President Obama stated, early this morning, that Tom Daschle will withdraw his name from nomination for Secretary of Health and Human Service.

Health and Human Services secretary Daschles tax issue continues to to expose themselves like an onion. Following President Obama's nomination it was shortly reviled that Former Senator Daschle had some tax issues that caused to to quickly correct a tax violation, voluntarily paying $101,943 in back taxes plus interest. He quickly also amended his Tax forms for the years 2005 and 2007.

Would Obama do the right thing and pick someone who has such a integrity disability?

We'll have to wait and see...

Obama is the new and fresh Jimmy Carter cloned president. But Obama doesn't like all the comparisons and parallels to former President "treasonous" Jimmy Carter which Sma' Talk Wi' T talked about in May 2005.

Well, lookie here... more embarrassing family relative news. Obama's half brother George has just been released from a Kenyan jail for drug crimes.

Obama was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis, known in Kenya as bhang, and resisting arrest, Inspector Augustine Mutembei said. He was held at Huruma police post in Kenya's capital, Nairobi, and scheduled to appear in court Monday, Mutembei said.

But Obama told CNN all charges against him were dropped. Police would not comment on that.

Speaking from behind bars on Saturday, Obama denied the allegations.

"They took me from my home," he said. "I don't know why they are charging me."

Now the possible scenarios?

• George really did possess marijuana and Big Brother Obama called up from across the Pond and told the Police Department "Let my Peep go."


• George didn't commit a crime but the Kenyan government saw a way to shake down the United States President.


• He's a typical young adult that makes stupid decisions. Obama can't help that, remember Billy Carter, Roger Clinton, George W. Bush?

But what is interesting is that George is now denying his living in a shack published by the liberal mouthpiece magazine Vanity Fair.

Unlike his grandmother in Kogela, in western Kenya, George Obama received little attention from the media until reports about him surfaced in August 2008.

The reports sprung from an Italian Vanity Fair article saying George Obama lived in a shack and was "earning less than a dollar a day."

The reports left George Obama angry.

"I was brought up well. I live well even now," he said. "The magazines, they have exaggerated everything.

"I think I kind of like it here. There are some challenges, but maybe it is just like where you come from, there are the same challenges," Obama said.

Guess maybe Obama told his half-brother to change his tune there as well. Or maybe George Obama was just on drugs that day that Vanity Fair tracked him down?

Born Again American Is Really Anti-American

There is a video going around the world called "Born Again American" that is misrepresenting itself as patriotic and American. It's not. It's a progressive, liberal, advocacy front organization to "sanitize" all liberal agendas while attacking Christian values.

Even their theme song is anti-Christian. "My country tis' of ME" instead of Thee [God].

The founder is Norman Lear. Worthy of his name. The is the same man, who wrote, directed and showcased the bigotry of America, the "coming out of the closet" Saturday night television shows, and supporter of the George Soros, Hillary backing Media Matters For America.

Please, for goodness sakes, people! Just because something has an American flag, the White House, military veterans, and a snappy tune on film, don't assume it's a good thing!!! That's what propaganda uses to manipulate blatantly unthinking folks.

Note To Dick Durbin: Never Put Water On A Grease Fire!

This morning on America's News HQ, Sen. Jim Demint (R-SC) and Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL) on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace spoke on Obama's pork-filled spending package that will not increase jobs. Sen. Jim Demint was correct in saying that the purported tax cuts would not help the economy.

"There's a lot of smoke and mirrors here. The tax cuts are temporary, but the spending will be permanent. And I think what they [Democrats] are doing here is an excuse to expand the many government programs that the Democrats have wanted to expand for years."

Democrats = big government = socialism.

Sen. Dick Durbin on the other hand wants Republicans to bipartisanly pass the spending pork bill so that the Democrats won't have to be responsible for their actions.

"We have to put enough water on this fire to put it out. Throwing a teacup of water on it, will mean that it will return tomorrow to face it again."

Doesn't Durbin know that you never throw water on a grease fire? Obama's spending "grow big government" spending bill is nothing but a grease fire!

UPDATE: Obama Thanks UN For Successful Iraqi Elections

UPDATE: Obama thanks UN not US military for Iraq's successful elections. Gateway Pundit tells us (because he can stomach watching ABC news):

US President Barack Obama has praised Iraq's provincial elections as an "important step forward" for the future of the country.

"This important step forward should continue the process of Iraqis taking responsibility for their future," Mr Obama said in a statement after millions of Iraqis went to the polls to elect councils in 14 or Iraq's 18 provinces.

Security for the country's first ballot since 2005 was extremely tight, with Iraqi police and military deployed in force, and Mr Obama praised the technical assistance by the United Nations and other organisations to Iraq's electoral commission, which he said "performed professionally under difficult circumstances."

Mr Obama said "it is important that the councils get seated, select new governors and begin work on behalf of the Iraqi people who elected them."

The United States still has 130,000 soldiers serving in Iraq.

The troubled nation has seen a major turnaround due to the Bush Surge in 2007.
Obama did not mention the American military in his statement.

Nor did he mention the great sacrifice that the United States and other Allies have given so that another country can have freedom and democracy. Not only does Obama have stones, he has no qualms about lying or revising history.

Ahmadinejad Struts As Obama Weakness In World Grows

In the Middle East version of Saturday Night Live's Hans and Franz's "Girly Men" insults, Iran's dictator, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called Obama's tactics 'a failure.'

This request means Western ideology has become passive, that capitalist thought and the system of domination have failed," Gholam Hossein Elham was quoted as saying by the Mehr news agency.

"Negotiation is secondary, the main issue is that there is no way but for (the United States) to change," he added.

After nearly three decades of severed ties, Obama said shortly after taking office this month that he is willing to extend a diplomatic hand to Tehran if the Islamic republic is ready to "unclench its fist".

In response, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad launched a fresh tirade against the United States, demanding an apology for its "crimes" against Iran and saying he expected "deep and fundamental" change from Obama.

Iranian politicians frequently refer to the US administration as the "global arrogance", "domineering power" and "Great Satan".

Wonder how BHO will respond to the whacked Iranian puppet dictator? Will he take back his "citizen of the world" open door policy to meet the tyrant for a quick game of basketball?

On another front, Iraq (freed by President #43, United States military, and our Allies) held his most peaceful elections since Saddam Hussein was in power. Obama had the stones to acknowledge the successful democratic voting procedures by congratulating the country and "hailed the poll as an important step toward Iraqis taking responsibility for their future. I congratulate the people of Iraq on holding significant provincial elections today."

Would Iraq even be a democratic country today if Obama had been in office at the time of Saddam's 14th United Nation violations? Would Saddam been allowed to keep trying to build up their chemical weapons of mass destruction?

90% turnout of voters for Iraqi election. Makes apathetic Americans look ungrateful.

It's a wait and wait and wait era for the United States as to the next time terrorists strike. Meanwhile, Obama sings "Why Can't We Be Friends?"

Hamas Deserves To Be Wiped Off The Face Of The Earth

Palestinians, the UN, and all the global bleeding-heart liberal pundits just need to shut up and stop whining about Israel's efforts to protect its' citizens. New York Slimes reporting more bombing from Hamas while Israel is being patient in discussing a cease-fire.

Gaza militants launched two rockets and a mortar shell into southern Israel early Sunday, drawing a threat of ''disproportionate'' retaliation from Israel's prime minister and further straining a cease-fire that ended Israel's Gaza offensive.

Where is Obama's administration, the new and more improved Secretary of State Clinton, asking Hamas to stop? Does she want to employ Obama's open hand policy that allows terrorists to say one thing and do another, all the time laughing at the United States weakness?

Where are the bleeding heart British socialists that are boycotting the BBC to show commercials to raise money for the poor Gaza people being bombed (in effect because of Hamas)?

Where is the Pope telling Palestinian terrorist to lay down their weapons and stop human shields?

Such hypocrisy. Israel will not be defeated - Hamas will be blown to bits. And rightly so.
