A British "Erin Brockovich" has won her years-long battle against the application of pesticides by agriculture farms in England.

Georgina Downs won a stunning High Court victory yesterday against the current pesticide safety regulations.

The ruling could force ministers to change the rules to bring them in line with EU guidelines, following evidence that thousands of people living near sprayed fields have suffered burns, cancers and neurological disorders.

Iran Has Nukes

Iran's one chance for nuclear weaponry has arrived. What will Obama do?

The figures detailing Iran's progress were contained in a routine update on Wednesday from the International Atomic Energy Agency, which has been conducting inspections of the country's main nuclear plant at Natanz. The report concluded that as of early this month, Iran had made 630 kilograms, or about 1,390 pounds, of low-enriched uranium.

Several experts said that was enough for a bomb, but they cautioned that the milestone was mostly symbolic, because Iran would have to take additional steps. Not only would it have to breach its international agreements and kick out the inspectors, but it would also have to further purify the fuel and put it into a warhead design — a technical advance that Western experts are unsure Iran has yet achieved.

"They clearly have enough material for a bomb," said Richard Garwin, a top nuclear physicist who helped invent the hydrogen bomb and has advised Washington for decades. "They know how to do the enrichment. Whether they know how to design a bomb, well, that's another matter."

Nehushtan told the magazine that whether a military strike is eventually decided upon is a political question and not an issue of Israel's military capabilities.
A strike against Iran's nuclear facilities "is a political decision," the IAF commander said, "but if I understand it correctly, all options are on the table… The Air Force is a very robust and flexible force. We are ready to do whatever is demanded of us."

They have omitted mentioning the very event that caused him his senate seat. Sergio, you're right and the political pundits agree with you. Obama's campaign theme to change the way Washington does politics is not important now. In January 2008, Obama said "‘We’re looking to fundamentally change the status quo in Washington.'"

I guess the campaign theme really was "Let's bring the Clinton's experience and policies back."

Why We Shouldn't Bail Out Auto Industry

Saving Detroit means saving it from bankruptcy. As we have seen with the airlines, bankruptcy can allow operations to continue while helping shed fatally unsupportable obligations. For Detroit, this means release from ruinous wage deals with their astronomical benefits (the hourly cost of a Big Three worker: $73; of an American worker for Toyota: $48), massive pension obligations, and unworkable work rules such as "job banks," a euphemism for paying vast numbers of employees not to work.

His answer astounded me. UAW Labor is paid company wages whether they work or not. America has to wake up concerning this. Until we can get organizations like the UAW to understand the only missing ingredient to creating a level playing field is getting the cost of labor to a realistic level, domestic car makers will never be successful.

But is Obama calling the kettle black by making all future employees fill out a questionaire that makes them tell who, what, when, and where, what are their aliases online and even their personal email addresses?

A seven-page questionnaire being sent by the office of President-elect Barack Obama to those seeking cabinet and other high-ranking posts may be the most extensive — some say invasive — application ever.

The questionnaire includes 63 requests for personal and professional records, some covering applicants’ spouses and grown children as well, that are forcing job-seekers to rummage from basements to attics, in shoe boxes, diaries and computer archives to document both their achievements and missteps.

Only the smallest details are excluded; traffic tickets carrying fines of less than $50 need not be reported, the application says. Applicants are asked whether they or anyone in their family owns a gun. They must include any e-mail that might embarrass the president-elect, along with any blog posts and links to their Facebook pages.

The application also asks applicants to “please list all aliases or ‘handles’ you have used to communicate on the Internet.”

What hypocrisy! What nerve. For someone who couldn't even pass a dog catcher test, nevermind a FBI security test, has taken drugs, took illegal campaign funds, sealed his birth certificate, possibly forged his Selective Service application, to ask for such a test is ludicrous and typical SOP for blatant liberalism. Don't do as I do, do as I say. I am your ruler!

Change You Can Really Believe In!

Norma White for Congress. Her guest column at Amarillo.com is as refreshing as Sarah Palin. Her suggestions for changing politics so that 'we, the people' are back in control and not corrupt career politicians.

• Limit Congress from serving more than two terms. That is all that presidents are allowed.
• Stop Congress from voting for their own raises. How did that ever get started?
• Stop paying for lawmakers' high-priced insurance premiums. After all, they are only part-time employees. They might pass some law changes on the insurance companies, if they had to find one.
• Stop paying lawmakers their full salary after serving just one term, or at retirement. We need to get rid of that pension plan; they've let other companies get rid of theirs. You were lucky to get 40 to 50 percent of your salary after working somewhere for 35 years, but they get 100 percent.
• Make Congress pay into the Social Security system. They make laws for it. If they spent some of their own money, they might be interested in making it solvent.
• Stop handing out aid to illegal aliens. If we did, then Medicaid and the food stamp program would have enough money to aid the aged and the poor.
• Secure our borders.
• Stop allowing babies born to illegal aliens in the United States automatic U.S. citizenship.
• Stop the abuse of our benevolent welfare system. We feed children free meals three times a day until they are 17. Churches give away good, clean clothes. Companies buy and donate school supplies. Emergency rooms provide health care at taxpayer expense and the food stamp program is buying food at home. What are parents doing for their children?
• Have a computer program that cross checks Social Security numbers with fingerprints to stop fraud on many fronts. Use it on voter registration, too.
• Stop bailing out mortgage companies and banks that give loans to people who cannot afford them.
• Stop companies from paying CEOs and other executives outrageous salaries and bonuses while doing away with workers' pensions.
• top all unnecessary spending so we will have the money for our nation's security, and to help needy and elderly Americans.
• Stop permitting anyone to have a photo with their face covered on driver's licenses.

Leaker Identified In Palin Africa Hoax

Remember the leak by the unknown GOP person who gossiped that Sarah Palin didn't know that Africa was a continent?

Accuracy in Media has the facts: there was no leak - it was a hoax perpetuated says PMSNBC's David Shuster, by GOP policy advisor Martin Eisenstadt.

Who would say such a thing? On Monday the answer popped up on a blog and popped out of the mouth of David Shuster, an MSNBC anchor. “Turns out it was Martin Eisenstadt, a McCain policy adviser, who has come forward today to identify himself as the source of the leaks,” Mr. Shuster said.

Trouble is, Martin Eisenstadt doesn’t exist. His blog does, but it’s a put-on. The think tank where he is a senior fellow — the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy — is just a Web site. The TV clips of him on YouTube are fakes.

And the claim of credit for the Africa anecdote is just the latest ruse by Eisenstadt, who turns out to be a very elaborate hoax that has been going on for months. MSNBC, which quickly corrected the mistake, has plenty of company in being taken in by an Eisenstadt hoax, including The New Republic and The Los Angeles Times.

ObaMSM's can report the hoaxes but can't seem to find the facts. This wasn't just a breaking news bulletin that needed to be updated when facts were known but the leftwing's deliberate attempt at discrediting the GOP vice presidential nominee and manipulating the presidential campaign. Let's see how many headlines on the Africa hoax the drivebys report. Just don't hold your breath. It worked - the ignorant and biased liberals believed it. With Obama in the White House, the hoax is on them now.

Leonard Padilla did it? The world famous bounty hunter was outraged that he was lied to by the imprisoned mother and alleged murderer, Casey Anthony. Padilla vowed to find little Caylee Anthony's body. Today, one day after Padilla held a memorial service for Caylee Anthony, a plastic bag containing toys, small bones, and a shamrock, weighed down with bricks was found by divers in the Little Econ River in Lake Blanchard Park. Casey Anthony has a shamrock tattoo and a necklace that she wore frequently was a green shamrock.

Breast Cancer Treatment Break Through

For nearly a quarter of breast cancer patients, the miracle drug Tamoxifen doesn't work and up till now medical researchers didn't understand why. A recent breakthrough now could lead to a cure for all women suffering from breast cancer.

Scientists found that there are fewer number of the target "receptors" that the drug is designed to attack in breast cancer cells resistant to the medication.

However, there are a greater number of a possible alternative target, offering the chance that the drug could be modified to effectively fight these.

The new research could also help to identify more quickly those patients for whom tamoxifen is no longer working, allowing doctors to switch their medication sooner. Dr Rebecca Riggins, from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C., who led the study, said: "The magnitude of this health issue is huge. "It is clear that we need to understand why this resistance occurs."

The findings, published in the journal Cancer Research, came after the scientists team studied cells of cancer which had become resistant to tamoxifen in a laboratory.

It comes as another study finds that painful joints and embarrassing hot flushes could be boon for breast cancer patients, because they show that their treatment is working, according to a new study.

What a great gift this will be for the entire world. To those who say that drug companies not being able to find a cure for cancer is a conspiracy to keep people ill, I say - not true! God bless the medical researchers everywhere who work tirelessly to find a cure for all cancers.

Former Tory Chancellor Ken Clarke, who led Britain’s recovery from Black Wednesday, warned the economy was heading for a ‘catastrophic crisis’ far worse than ‘anything that has occurred in my lifetime’.

‘There will be a very serious recession next year,’ he said. ‘I think the big problem in 2009 will be the catastrophic fall in consumer spending demand, spending in shops will get worse.’

The Bank confirmed the country has already entered its first recession since the early 1990s, blaming the slump in lending and chaos in the financial markets. It said national output will fall at an annual pace of around 2 per cent by the middle of 2009.

Zeituni Onyango, 56, referred to as "Aunti Zeituni" in Obama's memoir, was instructed to leave the United States by a U.S. immigration judge who denied her asylum request, a person familiar with the matter told the AP late Friday. This person spoke on condition of anonymity because no one was authorized to discuss Onyango's case.

Information about the deportation case was disclosed and confirmed by two separate sources, one of them a federal law enforcement official. The information they made available is known to officials in the federal government, but the AP could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved in its release.

Onyango's refusal to leave the country would represent an administrative, non-criminal violation of U.S. immigration law, meaning such cases are handled outside the criminal court system. Estimates vary, but many experts believe there are more than 10 million such immigrants in the United States.

Family is coming out of the woodworks now that Obama has a chance to be president? I guess Obama doesn't believe in spreading the wealth among his own family. The British newspaper, The Times has the story.

Zeituni Onyango, the aunt so affectionately described in Mr Obama’s best-selling memoir Dreams from My Father, lives in a disabled-access flat on a rundown public housing estate in South Boston.

A second relative believed to be the long-lost “Uncle Omar” described in the book was beaten by armed robbers with a “sawed-off rifle” while working in a corner shop in the Dorchester area of the city. He was later evicted from his one-bedroom flat for failing to pay $2,324.20 (£1,488) arrears, according to the Boston Housing Court.

But we knew that about him from his half-brother in Africa that lives on $15 a year.

What Else Does Google Know About You?

Everything you look up on the Internet is tracked. That's how doctors are using Google to see how widespread flu is in the United States.

That wouldn't make me feel uneasy except I know that Google and Youtube are liberally biased and intentionally thwart conservatives websites from using it's search engines.

Internet search king Google eliminated a number of conservative e—zines and blogs from its news crawl earlier this year. In all of the cases cited, the alleged offense was the dissemination of 'hate speech.'

After closer examination, the tie between all the banished websites was the publishing of articles about radical Islam and its relation to international terrorism. Yet, sites that actually were more specifically involved in such activities — like Hezb'allah's propaganda arm in Lebanon, al Manar — were unaffected by Google's 'hate speech' policies, and continue to be a part of its news crawl.

No wonder Al Gore invented the Internet.

And liberals were afraid of President George Bush and the Patriot Act? Sounds like projection to me.

Left's Intolerance Of Beliefs Will Cost Jobs

So much for everyone having a right to their own opinion and welcome back to the days of McCarthyism and Hollywood blacklisting. If you support a cause that doesn't jive with gay rights, you won't be allowed to keep your job. Ask Scott Eckern, California Musical Theatre's artistic director, who was forced to resign after his donation for Proposition 8 was revealed.

The Web site antigayblacklist.com published a list based on data by electiontrack.com of anyone who contributed more than $1,000 to the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign. That disclosure led to a surge of calls for a boycott on the theater company, which puts on Music Circus shows, presents the Broadway Series at the Community Center Theatre and is just launching the musical show "Forever Plaid" at the new K Street performing arts venue Cosmopolitan Cabaret.

How Will Obama Impose His Will?

By executive orders, of course. The hell with Bush's Patriot Act - the undoing of free will in America! Dictator Bush was castrated daily for eight years by the ObaMSM's for keeping America safe after 9-11 (Something Clinton and Carter was unable to do). Not so with Obama's lack of scrutiny and vetting before being crowned.

Executive talks within the Obama camp have immediate plans for the country on day one of inauguration.

John Podesta, Obama's transition chief, said Sunday Obama is reviewing President Bush's executive orders on those issues and others as he works to undo policies enacted during eight years of Republican rule. He said the president can use such orders to move quickly on his own.

"There's a lot that the president can do using his executive authority without waiting for congressional action, and I think we'll see the president do that," Podesta said. "I think that he feels like he has a real mandate for change. We need to get off the course that the Bush administration has set."

Presidents long have used executive orders to impose policy and set priorities. One of Bush's first acts was to reinstate full abortion restrictions on U.S. overseas aid. The restrictions were first ordered by President Reagan and the first President Bush followed suit. President Clinton lifted them soon after he occupied the Oval Office and it wouldn't be surprising if Obama did the same.

Executive orders "have the power of law and they can cover just about anything," Tobias said in a telephone interview.

I am afraid to see the death (abortion)and destruction (our economy) that will be imposed during the legacy of the Obama reign.

Iranian born Valerie Jarrett, Co-chairman of Obama's moving company has the mindset that Obama is going to rule rather than lead and do the will of the people.

Want to know what the Iranians think of Obama? They're thrilled! They have sent congratulations to Obama for the first time since the American hostages had been captured in 1979.

In a step that will further increase Israel's anxiety about Obama, Tehran announced last night that President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad had broken a 29-year tradition and sent his congratulations to the President-elect - the first time an Iranian leader has offered such wishes since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Ahmadinejad congratulated the Democrat on 'attracting the majority of voters in the election'.

He said he hoped Obama will 'use the opportunity to serve the (American) people and leave a good name for history' during his term in office. Iran and the U.S. have had no formal diplomatic relations since 1979 when militant Iranian students held 52 Americans captive 444 days.

I'm sure Barack Hussein Obama sent his thank you for the warm greetings immediately back. If he had a common sense he would immediately renounce the Iranian dictators welcome. But ' Citizen of the World' has such a nice ring to it - He's the one they've all been waiting for.

Oh yeah, the world is going to love the United States now.

Are We Losing Fox News?

The Fox News cable channel has been the one bastion where conservatives could find truly "fair and balanced" reporting of political and cultural news. It is beginning to look like those days may be over.

I am not talking about the opinion commentators on Fox. Alan Colmes and numerous other Democratic commentators are fine with me, because they are avowed liberals and their opinions are clearly intended as opinions. What was refreshing about Fox was that their news reporters were not openly part of the liberal culture of the mainstream media. Their news stories did not start from the point of a fundamental acceptance of liberal views. But there are disconcerting signs that the news part of Fox News is morphing into something more typical of CNN (though still far from MSNBC).

Exhibit one is the reporting by Fox News of presidential polls in the weeks just prior to the election. Repeatedly, on the news programs, Fox reporters would intone seriously about how John McCain was "ten points" or "fourteen points" behind "in the polls" (the reporter using the plural). In the past, Fox reporters could be relied upon to include in their reports mention of other polls showing a much closer race, and at least the Real Clear Politics average of polls. But in the weeks immediately preceeding the election, it became increasingly common for a "news" story to be based on a single poll showing the widest margin for Obama.

Next came the borderline giddiness of the Fox News analysts as it became clearer that Obama was going to win on election night. Fox reporters normally express their opinions during election night coverage, but their reporting and demeanor have been even handed and professional. When George W. Bush was initially declared to have lost Florida, then to have won Florida in 2000, there was no real noticeable change in their demeanor. Similarly in 2004, there was no apparent elation that Bush had won reelection. On no previous occasion did you see the outright enthusiasm shown this last election night, and this with the winner being the most radical president elect in the country's history.

Then last night Carl Cameron "reported" with complete credulity the slanders by failed McCain campaign aides of Sarah Palin. The same people who previously claimed that Palin had "no close relationships with anyone in Alaska or anyone in her own family," now claimed Palin did not know that Africa was a continent. Cameron did on an occasion or two throw in mild disclaimers such as "they claimed," but those were the exception in his extensive report. No context was given, no reference to the previous attempts to destroy Palin’s reputation, no consideration of the motives of those making the outrageous claims, just open acceptance of the claims of liberal Republican campaign advisers.

Fox News was stung by the Democrats' refusal to participate in a debate on Fox News, and the almost total inability to obtain interviews from Barack Obama, Joe Biden or other campaign members must have been a concern. Now, with at least four years of an Obama presidency ahead of them, and with Obama kicking off his campaign plane reporters for news organizations who endorsed McCain, it appears that Fox News may have made a conscious decision to "liberalize" its news to ensure access to an Obama administration. This is not nearly as serious as CNN censoring the news to keep its bureaus in nations under dictatorship, but if it proves to be true, it is cut of the same cloth.

I sincerely hope I am wrong, but there is a noticeable change in the tone of Fox News’ news. No one wants a news organization to be an open cheerleader for one party or another, but it sure was nice to have one news organization that at least made a concerted effort to report the news objectively. I hope I am wrong, but the signs point to Fox News giving up that distinction.

Oh well, we still have talk radio...at least until we get the new "Fairness Doctrine."

A New Contract With America

The 2010 campaign starts today. If conservatives want to actually have a chance to win in the next congressional election, they better start to run like conservatives again. "Me too" conservatives never fair as well as Ronald Reagan in 1980, or Republican Congressional candidates running on the Contract with America in 1994. Just ask Senator McCain.

This is still a center-right country. If it weren't, Democrats would not have to lie to win elections and the media would not have to censor the news to let them. In that spirit, conservatives can begin to take back control of the Republican Party, and lead this country away from the socialist precipice, by rallying around the following ten issues.

1. A proposed constitutional amendment to enact term limits on federal office holders, to include a promise to immediately adopt rules in Congress that strip members who exceed those limits of all committee chairmanships, and any other positions of authority in the House and the Republican caucus, with a promise to withhold all party funding of any such member in future elections.


2. A proposed federal marriage amendment. (I am a strong federalist, but the judges Obama will appoint to the federal judiciary are not subject to being overruled by referendum like the California Supreme Court just was on this issue. Those state supreme courts creating a right to gay marriage have made this a federal issue because of the Full Faith and Credit Clause of the Constitution.)


3. Adoption of an "Earmark Termination - single issue" rule in the House requiring any amendment to any bill be germane to the subject matter of the underlying bill, which would effectively end earmarks.


4. Permanent enactment of the "Bush" tax cuts and the repeal of the federal estate tax, scheduled to expire in 2010 (if the Democrats don't rescind them earlier).


5. Election reform, reinstating the Constitutionally required provision for a single nationwide election for federal office on the first Tuesday in November, except legitimate, needs based absentee voting; and the requirement of photo identification to vote.


6. Removal of all federal control over K-12 education, converting all current federal educational aid to block grants to the states conditioned on their conducting mandatory testing, with mandatory publication of the results for parents to make informed decisions, but no other penalties, leaving that to the states. (While I strongly favor vouchers, education is a state issue, not a federal one.)


7. Rollback of any of the "emergency" bailout provisions that have been implemented, and will be in the next six months, to restore capitalism to our credit and housing markets, to include sale of any equity interests purchased by the government.


8. Creation of an immediately accessible computer data base of those eligible to work in this country combined with strict enforcement of sanctions on employers who fail to verify employment eligibility status.


9. Repeal of McCain-Feingold, which the Democrats have just proved was not worth the paper it was written on (talk about poetic justice), requiring only the immediate mandatory reporting of the names and addresses of all contributors to federal political campaigns and prohibiting the acceptance of donations from those not eligible to contribute, using the data base for employability in item 8, creating a subset of that data by deleting those who are not citizens.


10. Repeal of all limits on oil exploration and drilling, and exclusive and streamlined federal control over the building of nuclear power plants, with revisions to various federal statutes, including the Endangered Species Act, to make actual construction of such plants practical in a reasonable time period.

We have no Newt Gingrich in Congress right now, but we do have Sarah Palin, Bobby Jindal, Mitt Romney and others who could lead conservatives, and the Republican Party, back to...well...conservatism. These are the issues with which they could do it. Let Obama have his day, but there are only 729 days left til the 2010 elections.

Shariah Law Gets Foot In Door In United States

Frank J. Gaffney, Jr informs us that the U.S. Treasury Department is now learning about incorporating Sharia law into our banking legislation.

While in Riyadh, Mr. Kimmitt [U.S. Deputy Secretary of the Treasury] announced: "The U.S. government is currently studying the salient features of Islamic banking to ascertain how far it could be useful in fighting the ongoing world economic crisis."

"Islamic banking" is a euphemism for a practice better known as "Shariah-Compliant Finance (SFC)." And it turns out that this week the Treasury will be taking officials from various federal agencies literally to school on SFC.

The department is hosting a half-day course entitled "Islamic Finance 101" on Thursday at its headquarters building. Treasury's self-described "seminar for the policy community" is co-sponsored with the leading academic promoters of Shariah and SCF in the United States: Harvard University Law School's Project on Islamic Finance. At the very least, the U.S. government evidently hopes to emulate Harvard's success in securing immense amounts of Wahhabi money in exchange for conforming to the Islamists' agenda. Like Harvard, Treasury seems utterly disinterested in what Shariah actually is, and portends.

Unfortunately, such submission - the literal meaning of "Islam" - is not likely to remain confined long to the Treasury or its sister agencies. Thanks to the extraordinary authority conferred on Treasury since September, backed by the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the department is now in a position to impose its embrace of Shariah on the U.S. financial sector. The nationalization of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, Treasury's purchase of - at last count - 17 banks and the ability to provide, or withhold, funds from its new slush-fund can translate into unprecedented coercive power.

Concerns in this regard are only heightened by the prominent role Assistant Treasury Secretary Neel Kashkari will be playing in "Islamic Finance 101." Mr. Kashkari, the official charged with administering the TARP fund, will provide welcoming remarks to participants. Presumably, in the process, he will convey the enthusiasm about Shariah-Compliant Finance that appears to be the current party line at Treasury.

Catholic Church Probing ACORN Millions In Fraud Funding

Catholic Church may have learned its lesson from the last decade of scandals in not informing law enforcement agencies of crimes committed within their dioceses. The Washington Times is confirming that the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops hired forensic accounting specialists in July to look at ACORN's funding for voter registration. Forensic accounting specialists have been hired to look into the fraud.

The CCHD sent $1,037,000 to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in 2007, including a $40,000 grant to an ACORN affiliate in Las Vegas that was raided last month by the Nevada attorney general's office in a voter-fraud probe.

The Catholic aid agency has given more than $7.3 million to ACORN over the past decade for about 320 projects, according to the Catholic News Service.

In June, the Catholic Church froze a $1.2 million grant for 38 ACORN chapters after the community-organizing group was accused of voter fraud in 15 states.

Heritage Foundation Asks Obama Campaign To Stop

Honest? Open? Obama doesn't know the meaning of the word honesty and integrity.

Over the last two days, I've heard gleeful exhortations from RINO's and liberals stating that the Heritage Foundation has claimed Obama's tax plan is a better tax plan. Not so, and the Heritage Foundation has asked the Obama campaign to stop using their name and logo in misrepresenting their reports on their political ads. The Heritage Foundation wants Obama to pull the ad which quotes Rea Hederman as saying that "the middle class would likely pay less under Mr. Obama's plan."

Alan Dye, The Heritage Foundation lawyer wrote to the Obama campaign stating that:

"Mr. Hederman never said what is quoted...the words you quote are from a New York Sun reporter who interviewed Mr. Hederman and summarized his views erroneously."

Mr. Rea Hederman said on October 31, 2008, that "According to the announcer, I believe that the middle class would be better off under the Obama tax plan. This was news to me."

Another shining example of the subterfuge, the intentional misuse, and corruption behind the Obama campaign. How anyone can believe anything this "citizen of the world" supported by extreme radical Muslims, dictators, Communists, anarchists and terrorists, is horrifying.

When denouncing that the Obama tax plan will actually devastate the middle class, ignorant guffawing is heard. These supporters of Obama are extremely obtuse and uninformed andthe average American will pay the price for these naive hopes.

If you vote for the prevaricating Obama, and his socialist party of Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, Frank, Schumer, Franken, this country will no longer be the United States of America.

No, of course it wasn't for religious reasons. A Paramus, New Jersey high school teenager was sent home to change his costume because he was dressed as the condemned Jesus of Nazareth. • Harry Truman (Dem) : No. 7, inaugurated at age 60.
• Dwight Eisenhower (Rep) : No. 8, inaugurated at 62.
  The three youngest presidents since WWII were:
• John Kennedy (Dem) : ranked No. 15, inaugurated at 43.
• Bill Clinton (Dem) : No. 22, inaugurated at 46.
• Jimmy Carter (Dem): No. 34, inaugurated at 52.

John Kennedy was cited as being the most overrated president. Along with Kennedy, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, all three Democrat presidents who seriously damaged the security of the United States either with their naivete,' military embarrassments, defunding the military, and lack of response to attacks from enemies.

President Carter lost one country after another to the expansionist Soviet Union. He withdrew U.S. contracts for defense supplies intended for the Shah of Iran because he didn't like the Shah's human rights treatment of jailed Soviet agents who for years tried to undermine Iran's government. Because we stopped supporting our strongest ally in a volatile area of the world, Iran was overthrown, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and the ruling mullahs are now well on their way to having nuclear weapons.

Tehran has promised to wipe Israel off of the map in one blow. The regime also created and financed the terrorist group Hezbollah.

When Carter, who had been a one-term governor, first met the older Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev, the USSR quickly invaded Afghanistan. Carter, the naive appeaser, said: "I can't believe the Russians lied to me." The Soviets ran wild on Carter and also took over Ethiopia, South Yemen, Angola, Cambodia, Mozambique, Grenada and Nicaragua.

The strong admonishment that those who don't pay attention to history are condemned to repeat it, should be a warning to the independents and intelligent Democrats who haven't made up their minds yet.
