The iPOD might be a more effective teaching tool than wasting tax money on unreadable textbooks and awful staff development. No one thinks the state should give an iPOD to a kid to listen to his/her music, but rather it could be a more effective and cost effective teaching tool than spending 70$ a book x 7 classes over a 4 year period.
