Tony Blair Creating A Nanny State

When did how to be a mother and father become forgotten? Children need love, discipline, sung to, learn nursery rhymes, go on walks, played with on the swingset, and read bedtime stories.

How sad we are raising a generation of parents who don't know how, or even what the joys of parenting are, and how wonderful it should be to be a child.

I'm thanking God for my momma and my upbringing. We sang wonderful silly songs like Run, Rabbit, Run, and Hey, Little Hen.

We recited poetry like The Fairies.

"Up the airy mountain, down the rustic glen. We daren't go a huntin' for fear of little men."
We read adventurous fantasy books like Charlotte's Web, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and Bambi. We took long walks in the woods and over hills and dales. Our momma cuddled us and taught us about our Scottish heritage.

Michelle Malkin reports how sad that Tony Blair is hiring 80 nannies to teach British parents how to raise their children to be happy, normal children.

Where is Mary Poppins when you need her?
